Lumia 900 delayed in UK because of high demand in US
Previously stated April 27th release date has been changed to "around May 14th" citing a need to keep the device stocked in the States. This information is from V3.co.uk which got it from a Nokia spokeperson.
"The overwhelming demand for the Lumia 900 in the US with AT&T has, unfortunately, had a small knock-on effect on product availability in the UK," the spokesperson said.
"The Lumia 900 is now expected to be available from Phones4U around May 14."

I know, this site is mostly about Lumia 800, but I can't skip the fact that Nokia Lumia 900 is now Amazon’s Best Selling Phone. Even phone just launched and phone was largely unavailable because of Easter, it skyrocketed to the top.

Battery Boost software upgrade for Nokia Lumia 800
Software version is Lumia 800 (1600.2487.8107.12070) and it promises better battery performance and and power management. It was originally scheduled for 18 April, but they managed to push it a little bit 
But don't be too excited Yet, read this:
But before you get all excited and reach out for that cable to connect your Lumia 800 to your Mac or PC, there’s just one more thing to know: the update will not span the globe all at once. It will be queued up over 4 weeks, beginning today (28 March) for the first batch. Subsequent phased updates will be on 4, 11 and 18 April.
